James started his career in acoustics in 2005 where he worked for a large independent acoustic consultancy in Suffolk for 14 years. After a 5-year period at a Scottish consultancy James then started at AAD in 2024.
James has worked on numerous projects mainly specialising in architectural and building acoustics such as mixed-use residential schemes, student accommodation schemes, educational facilities, and office developments. The schemes range from large regeneration projects to smaller building conversions and cover new build and refurbishment projects. James also handles projects during the planning stage, assessing the impact of various new proposals to and from noise sensitive locations.
At the weekend you will probably find James at his local golf club or cooking up his next gastronomic experience at home.
